What Is Pilates?

Pilates is both a mental and physical form of exercise.  Pilates "Contrology" is a body-conditioning type of exercise that focuses on engaging the mind with the body.  The Pilates Method includes exercises for every part of the body and applications for every type of activity.  Encouraging the use of the mind to control the muscles in the body. It is designed to enhance the overall mind-body connection while conditioning & strengthening the entire body.

Mr. Pilates was a brilliant man, here at Lifestyle Pilates, the mission is to bring to you all that his work was meant to create in your lives!
